Day 1 : Arrival Entebbe Airport - Kampala
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide who will then take you toSerena Kampala Hotel (High end) or Cassia Lodge (Mid range) orForest Cottages Kampala(Budget end) for an overnight and dinner. Meal plan Dinner.
Day 2 : Kampala - Kibale National Park
Leave Kampala after breakfast for the fascinating drive through papyrus swamps and thick jungleof the Nile Delta to Kibale National Park justunder the RuwenzoriMountains. Afternoon guidedwalk in the Crater lakes area of the park for outstanding cultural visit. Meals and over night atKyaninga Lodge/Ndali Lodge(Lodge facility) orPrimate Lodge-Forest Cottage(Mid Lodge) orChimpanzee Guest House(Budget facility). A stunning location overlooking a dramatic CraterLake and the fabled “Mountains of the Moon”. . Meal plan: (B, L, D)
Day 3 : Chimpanzee Trekking Kibale Forest National Park - Bwindi
Half day search of chimpanzee and 10 other primateincluding phoestes,red Colobus, blues, andred tailed and grey cheeked mangabey.The guide will provide detailed explanations, not only onprimates, but also on all the forest fauna and flora and will ensure that your walk is bothinformative and enjoyable.This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and seeing primates atclose quarters.After lunch, proceed to Bwindi via Queen Elizabeth National Park and here youmay spot many wildlife including Elephants, Buffaloes, among others. This is the lushesthighlandrain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps.Dinner and overnight stay at either Buhoma Lodge/Mahogany Springs/Gorilla Safari Lodge (highend lodge) or Sliver back Lodge/Chameleon Hill Lodge (Mid range) or BuhomacommunityBandas/Wagtail Eco Camp (Budget facility) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 4 : Bwindi Gorilla Trekking
Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from theUWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etcThe guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have beenbooked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear totrack the rareMountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trackingmay take between 2 and 6 hours but its well worth the effort. The afternoon is spent on a villagewalk. The Buhoma Village Walk gives you a greatopportunity to see how the people surroundingBwindi Impenetrable Forest. It also is a great way to support the local community in a direct way.The Walk begins with your guide at Buhoma Community Rest Camp and is most informative,rewarding to the averagevisitor. It will amaze you how resourceful the local people are as you see and learn their ways. Day 5: Bwindi - Kampala/Entebbe
Return to Kampala, then Entebbe, with lunch enroute witstopover at Igongo cultural centre toexplore the life style of the Ankole and Bahima, thereafter proceed at the Equator Ugandabefore your evening departures home. Meal plan: (B, L) End of services
