Tour Schedule Details

Our journey begins as we are picked up from our hotel or place of residence in Kampala after enjoying a hearty breakfast. We’ll head towards Lake Mburo, Uganda’s smallest savannah national park. Upon our arrival, we’ll check in at our pre-booked safari lodge, where a delicious lunch awaits. Afterward, we’ll embark on a refreshing boat cruise on Lake Mburo, providing an opportunity to observe aquatic wildlife and a variety of unique bird species associated with water. Following the cruise, we’ll return to land and conclude the day with an exhilarating evening game drive.

Our day starts with an early morning nature walk, guided by a game ranger, after enjoying a steaming cup of coffee or tea. We’ll have a full breakfast at the lodge to refuel before departing Lake Mburo and heading southwest to the picturesque Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Our day begins with an exciting early morning game drive, offering us the opportunity to spot the diverse wildlife of Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the afternoon, we’ll embark on a memorable boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, known for its aquatic wildlife and prolific birdlife. This boat cruise promises awe-inspiring sights. We’ll have ample time to appreciate the beauty around us and capture plenty of photographs before returning to the shores. We’ll end our day at the Elephant Corridor, searching for the world’s largest mammals in significant numbers.

After a delightful breakfast, we’ll start our journey out of Queen Elizabeth National Park, heading to Buhoma. Along the way, we’ll take advantage of this route to spot the famous tree-climbing lions of Ishasha. We’ll continue our journey to Buhoma in Bwindi. Upon our arrival, we’ll check in at our booked safari lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Prepare for an incredible day of encountering mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Following a short briefing, we’ll venture into the Impenetrable Bwindi Forest, guided by experienced trackers. Our hike will lead us through some of the most captivating sights, with opportunities to spot various forest birds as a bonus. Upon reaching the mountain gorillas, we’ll have an hour to observe, appreciate, and capture plenty of photographs before descending along the forest trails. Afterward, we’ll return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation.
