7:00 am – Your safari adventure commences early as your experienced driver/guide from SAFARI SEEKERS arrives to pick you up. Step into the comfort of your private 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep as you begin your journey along the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway.
The passing fields will be graced with the splendor of an African sunrise, setting the stage for a day packed with thrilling safari encounters. In approximately three hours, you’ll arrive at Tsavo East National Park, home to the legendary Tsavo lions and herds of red-dusted elephants.
Kenya’s largest park stretches out to the horizon, and we’ll head to the most vibrant watering holes for some exceptional wildlife sightings. Aruba Dam and Kanderi marshes, known for attracting great numbers of thirsty wildlife, promise diverse game sightings. Keep your eyes peeled for eland, hartebeest, mongoose, duiker, as well as larger species.
After an exciting day, we’ll enjoy a hearty lunch. Subsequently, we’ll embark on a journey to Taita Hills, where you’ll continue to indulge in exceptional game viewing. These green rolling hills offer a striking contrast to Tsavo’s red, dusty plains, yet wildlife encounters are equally vibrant. Sightings of elephants and even lions are not uncommon.
The evening will find you at either the Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa or the Salt Lick Safari Lodge, where you can relax and recount the day’s remarkable safari experiences.
Awaken early to maximize your safari time, as you embark on an early game drive. This serene and magical time allows you to witness the enchanting world of Taita Hills awakening. The soft morning light bathes the fields and hills, and the fresh dewy scent of the sanctuary surrounds you.
Afterward, we’ll return to your accommodation for a delicious breakfast, sharing stories of your safari sightings. Another game drive will complete the morning, granting you more opportunities to observe the abundant wildlife in this special reserve.
As the day progresses, we’ll journey back to the coast. A lunch stop on our route will keep you energized before reaching the coast and Diani in the late afternoon/early evening.
