Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at your selected hotel or lodge. Once ready, meet your Uganda safari guide and depart from Kampala or Entebbe early in the morning for Kibale Forest National Park, located in Western Uganda. The journey, which takes approximately 5-6 hours, will follow the Mityana-Mubende-Fort Portal route.

Upon reaching Fort Portal, take a break to enjoy lunch and refreshments. Continue your journey to Kibale, admiring the mesmerizing views of crater lakes and tea plantations along the way. Arrive at your chosen lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Rise early for a delicious breakfast and proceed to the Kanyanchu Tourist Centre in Kibale Forest. From 7:00 am to 8:00 am, you’ll receive a briefing on the guidelines for chimpanzee trekking. After the briefing, embark on your chimpanzee tracking adventure, where you’ll not only encounter chimpanzees but also L’Hoest monkeys, baboons, colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and various bird species.

Following your chimpanzee experience, enjoy lunch and depart from Kibale for a 3-hour journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Wake up early and have breakfast before meeting your guide for a 2-3 hour guided game drive in Kasenyi Plains. This game drive offers excellent opportunities to spot buffaloes, warthogs, lions, leopards, elephants, antelopes, and a multitude of bird species. Return to your lodge for lunch and a relaxing afternoon.

In the afternoon, embark on a boat or launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel at 2:00 pm. This cruise provides fantastic wildlife viewing, including hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, and various aquatic birds. After the cruise, return to your lodge for freshening up, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Arrive at your lodge in Bwindi Forest, where you’ll have dinner and an overnight stay.

Begin your day with an early breakfast at your gorilla lodge in Bwindi Forest. After breakfast, attend a briefing at the park offices. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi can be unpredictable, so it’s advisable to bring packed lunch and mineral water. Depart from the Bwindi offices at 8:00 am to start your gorilla trek, guided by a park ranger. The trek can take anywhere from 3 to 6 hours or more, depending on various factors.

Once you locate the mountain gorillas, you’ll have a full hour to observe their behaviors, take photographs, and cherish this incredible wildlife encounter. Return to your lodge to freshen up.

In the evening, you have the opportunity to take a cultural walk to the Batwa Pygmies community.
