Starting from and returning to your Diani Beach or other coastal resort, we’ll pick you up in style in your private 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep and fly you back to the coast at the end of your extraordinary adventure. This week-long safari is a treasure trove of Africa’s finest parks, teeming with its most magnificent wildlife, and featuring the grand spectacle of lions, leopards, and the awe-inspiring Great Migration of wildebeests. Duration: 3-Hour Drive

Your safari begins with an early rise. Your driver/guide will be waiting to welcome you into your private 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep, and from there, we’ll head to Mombasa via the Likoni Ferry. As the dawn’s light embraces the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway, we’ll make stops to refresh and soak in the magnificent vistas.

Upon arriving at the gate of Tsavo East National Park, our adventure commences, tracking the famous Tsavo lions, and discovering a host of incredible wildlife, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, gazelles, and a diverse range of birds. After a break for lunch and a refreshing pause, we’ll continue our safari adventure. As the sun sets, the land comes alive with more wildlife activity. We’ll return to our Tsavo East safari lodge or tented camp for a well-deserved dinner and relaxation.

The safari life beckons with an early start to witness the sun casting its first rays upon the plains and awakening the wildlife. After a morning game drive, we’ll journey towards Amboseli, keeping an eye out for the iconic silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro as we approach the park. A lunch break will provide an opportunity to rest before embarking on a leisurely exploration of this compact yet vibrant park.

Amboseli is renowned for its vast herds of free-ranging elephants, guaranteeing you captivating encounters. As evening approaches, we may even witness the dramatic reveal of Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak as the clouds part, presenting one of Africa’s natural wonders. Dinner will be served at our Amboseli accommodation.

Duration: 7-Hour Drive

Today, we have a big day ahead with plenty of ground to cover. We’ll greet the sun early in the morning and enjoy breakfast in this picturesque setting. After a final game drive in Amboseli, we’ll make our way to the Great Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha.

A lunch stop in Nairobi, the capital city, will keep us energized as we continue our journey toward Naivasha. At the high Rift Valley Lake Naivasha, you’ll experience a unique water safari. Glide past curious hippos, observing zebra and antelope grazing on the nearby shores. As the day winds down, we’ll savor dinner and rest at our Naivasha safari lodge or tented camp.

Duration: 1 ½ Hour Drive

An early start takes us to Hell’s Gate Park, known for its steaming vents and geothermal activity. Here, you can choose to embark on a walking or biking safari through the canyons, passing by zebra, giraffes, impalas, and buffaloes. Alternatively, we can take a quick side trip to the nearby Crescent Island Sanctuary, a small private reserve teeming with grazing animals and birdlife.

A short and pleasant one-hour drive will then lead us to Lake Nakuru, a harmonious blend of waterfalls, acacia woods, captivating wildlife, and a fascinating array of birdlife, including pelicans and pink flamingoes. Besides lions, zebras, giraffes, and baboons, the park is home to a rhino sanctuary where we may be fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of these elusive creatures. Over dinner at our Lake Nakuru accommodation, we’ll reflect on the experiences of our journey thus far.

Today is a momentous day with an abundance of grand wildlife encounters awaiting us. Before leaving Lake Nakuru, we’ll embark on one last drive through the park to search for any wildlife we may have missed. Then, we’re off to the renowned Masai Mara.

Arriving in the afternoon, we’ll have ample time for our initial exploration of this spectacular park. You’ll appreciate the rolling hills and iconic acacia trees that have been immortalized in countless African photographs. The reserve boasts the highest concentration of wildlife in the region and possibly the entire continent. We’ll be on the lookout for the big cats, as well as hyenas, jackals, gazelles, buffaloes, and countless zebras and wildebeests.

This marks the beginning of our thrilling three-day adventure in the Mara. After a long day, let’s unwind and enjoy dinner at our Masai Mara safari lodge or tented camp.

Today offers abundant opportunities for big game viewing. You can choose to go on as many game drives as you desire or simply relax at your own pace. Share your preferences with your guide, and craft your day accordingly.

Regardless of your choice, this day promises to be rich with natural world experiences. We’ll enjoy lunch by the Mara River, where wildebeests and zebras flow into the park from the Serengeti during the Great Migration (July – October). Brace yourself for an awe-inspiring spectacle of herds of wildlife entering the reserve, along with the waiting crocodiles and big cats.

This is nature at its most dramatic and primal. For those seeking an aerial view, an optional pre-dawn hot air balloon safari is available. You’ll rise with the sun as it paints the landscape with light, while wildebeests and other wildlife emerge in the dawning day—an unforgettable experience.

Another optional and enjoyable activity is a cultural tour of a nearby Maasai village. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the Maasai people, explore their homes, and learn about their ancient way of life.

As we return to our accommodation, we’ll savor another breathtaking Mara sunset, followed by relaxation and a delicious dinner.

Duration: 6-Hour Drive / 1-Hour Flight

On the seventh day of our week-long safari, you’ll have fully embraced the rhythms of nature. We’ll rise early for a pre-breakfast game drive, ensuring we don’t miss any wildlife sightings.

After breakfast, we’ll exit the park and make our way to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you’ll have the option to fly back to the coast or take the modern Madaraka Express train.

The flight departs at 18:30 hrs. (6:30 pm) and arrives in Mombasa approximately an hour later. There, we’ll be waiting to transport you to your Diani Beach or other resort.
