7:00 am – The adventure begins early, as your experienced driver/guide from SAFARI SEEKERS arrives to pick you up in a private 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep. You’ll step into the comfort of your vehicle as you embark on your journey to Mombasa via the Likoni Ferry.

As the sun breaks over the passing fields, you’ll be treated to the splendor of an African sunrise. In just a few hours, Tsavo East, with its broad expanse and vast open sky, will welcome you. Here, we’ll visit various watering holes like Mudanda Rock and the Aruba Dam, where the wildlife gathers to quench their thirst.

Amidst this expansive natural setting, there will be plenty of time for animal viewing and lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll set out for more game spotting, and you’ll find yourself settling into the rhythms of the safari life.

As the late afternoon bathes the landscape in a glowing African sunset, we’ll head to your safari lodge or tented camp for dinner and relaxation.

Rising before dawn, we’ll be ready to enjoy the sunrise as the park comes alive with wildlife like waterbuck, gerenuk, buffalo, and, of course, elephants. After breakfast, another game drive awaits as you explore the savannah in search of more of the park’s wild inhabitants.

The journey takes us to the rolling green hills of Tsavo West, a stark contrast to the rugged terrain we’ve left behind. Tsavo West houses all the charismatic megafauna, including rhinos. We’ll visit the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, a haven that protects and nurtures these shy, nocturnal creatures. The rhino is an endangered species, and this sanctuary plays a crucial role in their conservation.

Our second safari evening will be spent at our Tsavo West accommodation, where you can relax and relish the day’s safari experiences.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

On our final safari day, we’ll rise early to maximize our wildlife viewing opportunities. As the sun breaks over the park, we’ll encounter one of its hidden gems: Mzima Springs, a lush palm-shaded oasis.

This is a unique safari experience as we leave our 4 x 4 Jeep to explore on foot. We’ll walk along the spring’s shores, searching for migratory birds and exotic fish. Crocodiles and hippos thrive here in the millions of gallons of freshwater that feed the spring.

After a peaceful and nature-filled morning, we’ll enjoy lunch amidst these natural surroundings, reflecting on all that we’ve experienced. Following lunch, we’ll hop back into our 4 x 4 Jeep for a final game drive as we exit the park and head back to the coast.

In the late afternoon, we aim to have you back at your Diani Beach or other resort. You’ve explored various rich environments and encountered a plethora of wildlife, from red dusty plains to green rolling hills, savannahs, and springs.
