After settling into your accommodation, you’ll plan your afternoon adventure with your guide. This could include exploring the diverse wildlife that calls this park home or perhaps a visit to the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, a haven for nearly 100 of these gentle and endangered creatures.

As the sun dips below the horizon, you’ll return to your Tsavo West lodge or tented camp for a well-deserved dinner and a chance to rest.

The morning unveils a breathtaking African sunrise – an experience worth rising early for. Begin the day with a sunrise game drive, soaking in the serene morning light and the park’s awakening inhabitants.

Next, you’ll embark on a short journey to Amboseli Park, marked by the imposing presence of Mount Kilimanjaro. As you arrive, prepare for leisurely afternoon game drives, taking in the majestic elephants and other wildlife against the backdrop of the great mountain.

Amboseli is also home to a Maasai village, and you can opt for a cultural tour to connect with these indigenous people and gain insights into their lifestyle. Keep your camera ready as, towards late afternoon, the clouds may part, revealing the iconic snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro.

Dinner and relaxation await you at your Amboseli accommodation.

If you missed Kilimanjaro’s snowy summit last night, you might catch a glimpse this morning. With a full day ahead, start with an early game drive to observe the wildlife as they commence their day.

Breakfast in the midst of these natural wonders sets the tone for a mid-morning game drive, where you’ll have the chance to encounter lion, leopard, giraffe, zebra, impala, and much more. The pace of your day is at your discretion, whether you prefer more exploration or some relaxing downtime.

For a unique cultural experience, consider an optional visit to a nearby Maasai village. Here, you’ll meet the local inhabitants, learn about their customs, and even have the opportunity to acquire some of their colorful beadwork.

Your third night on safari will be spent at your Amboseli lodge or tented camp.
